SPARK STEM (TM)

Happy Hump Day! Dolls!

I know it’s been awhile since my last post but I have been so busy preparing for our upcoming event for Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day #SPARKSTEM @nationalstemsociety we host on Monday of the annual National Engineering Week. We had a successful showcase of STEM at Ciena Corporation for 30 students to educate, initiate and innovate young minds of tomorrow. I’m so thankful to my father in heaven to give us the strength necessary to pull off our 28th hosted SPARK STEM(TM) Day in corporate America. We, Professional Women in STEM Network of 800 women share our Network with our youth to give them the opportunity to be introduced to education, careers and fields in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to peek their young interest in continued education best practices to succeed in the robust world of STEM. Dolls we only makeup 22% of the global STEM careers and fields don’t you think it’s time we level the playing field. Let’s do this with the @nationalstemsociety collaboration with @pinkleaderboard to impact the world of STEM education, careers and fields! All the best on this beautiful Wednesday. God bless and God speed.

Is it still Valentines? LOL – late post :)

Happy Valentines Days! Dolls, my grandmother shared this statement, “working with women isn’t hard, working with insecure women is” in a long conversation last night. She explained during her life she had experienced the most hate, disrespect, abuse, discrimination, character misrepresentation and the like mostly from women she encountered who would call her names due to her silent demeanor, bow down to mock her as she walked by due to the way she carried herself and curtsy when they see her coming because of her grace as she walked in a room. I said grandmother your the daughter of a king. They couldn’t help but display that form of behavior when royalty enters the room with grace, patience and respect for herself. She responded exactly…. Ding, Ding, Ding….

I nearly died laughing!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ”₯πŸ€£πŸ˜…πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Despite a time in America where segregation, discrimination and disrespect of people of color my grandmothers attitude toward how she dealt with people so sad to hear mostly insecure women was strength of a higher power to hold her peace and remain silent. Silence is most of the time the biggest weapon you can use against the enemy despite how loud there attacks are against you. Your silence is not weakness. Silence is the ultimate strength displayed by my father from heaven himself when he became the sacrificial lamb. πŸ’₯πŸ”₯

Unbothered… Life, let it rain…

Happy Sunday Dolls! I was asked how do you keep a smile on your face and be full of so much energy daily? Do you not have any troubles in your life? What remarkable questions to ask a women who skin is caramel in America aka United States of America to be exact, eyes are brown and was born with gifted features e.g clear skin, too much butt and a good grade of hair from her mother and father reproductive DNA creation. My Response… Hell, I am not a doll made of plastic… Yes, I have troubles, situations, uncertain circumstances and more to deal with in my life like every one else born into this world. The difference with me is how I deal with it. I choose to rise above troubles, smile at situations, laugh at uncertain circumstances that show up in my life. Do you know why? I am the daughter of a king Doll… πŸ”₯Nothing in this world is allowed to kill my joy, happiness, take my black multicultural power I was gifted with… I have the armor, sword and shield of my father Jesus Christ radiance in my presence, confidence, high self esteem and self ❀️. My face, spirt, soul, body and stance is unbothered with shots from life. #thedaughterofaking. πŸ‘‘ #praisegod #sheisdiamond πŸ’ŽπŸ”₯ #thedaughterofaking. πŸ‘‘ #praisegod #sheisdiamond πŸ’ŽπŸ”₯. I wake up every day and tell life to bring it on baby. I’m a prayer warrior and don’t you ever forget it!πŸ’₯#boomboomboom

Somebody better call the fire department because I’m on fire this morning…πŸ˜‚ In the name of Jesus I am always whole… Doll, I don’t need to be made whole. Get you some while he still sprinkling love from heaven… Let it rain, let it rain… Open the flood gates of heaven… Jesus! Let it rain, let it rain.

Whether you have toxic friends, family, relationships, habits or lack of love for yourself. STOP IT ALL… Never let anything toxic control you. Remember you are diamond. Shine bright through it all. Bake your toxic, haters or annoyance some cookies but leave the hate out of them.πŸ˜‰Β Kill’em with kindness instead.

On a mission…

Good Morning Dolls, Happy Thursday!

I love Auntie Maya Angelo spoken words of love, strength, passion and compassion for herself and others… Do you have love and compassion for yourself and your neighbors? Yes, I’m taking a biblical approach to Auntie Maya’s message.

“The second is this: ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.” Mark 12:31

What a marvelous statement! Can we practice for 1 minutes a day to think about a neighbor who has gotten on your last nerve, talked about you or abused you in any way. Pause in our feelings for 1 minute then pray 3 times with our eyes closed “I forgive them in this moment” as you think about what they have done, smile, say I love you for God sake then say Amen, Amen Amen as you exhale and inhale slowly. You just recognized your neighbor with compassion without putting yourself first, emotions aside and passion to forgive those who have wronged you. WOW, I feel so much better. Do you? Have compassion for your neighbor like you have for yourself even in the toughest times. Yes, its tough for me too. Now that doesn’t mean you have given up your power, Dolls. No no no… No one can take your power unless you give it to them. This is one of many ways to stop giving your power to emotions that others has ignited in you with negativity, abuse or the later towards you…πŸ’‹β™₯️ Now go enjoy your Thursday loves!πŸ˜™
